Amazon's much-anticipated annual Prime Day deals event is officially over, seemingly putting an end to a bunch of markdowns on all things kitchen, from small appliances and cookware to dinnerware and kitchen gadgets. Lucky for you, we found some sales still going on.
Make sure you have a Prime membership (sign up for a free 30-day membership here) so you can still see the deals and shop. Don't want to spend another dime on a membership? Check out the competitor's deals: Walmart, Wayfair, Macy's, Caraway, and Our Place all have sales in July, too.
Amazon Prime Day happened on July 11-12, 2023. Though the event is over, here are the editor-approved deals you can still get.
Ninja AF101 Air Fryer
We picked this 4-quart air fryer as one of our best since it can do it all! You'll be able to air fry, air roast, bake, and dehydrate with the built-in presets. It heated consistently and evenly throughout all of our testing, and the controls are so intuitive, we didn't need to have the manual open during our test runs.
Nutribullet Personal Blender
Blend up your favorite breakfast smoothies in no time with this 600-watt Nutribullet. As always, you simple add all your ingredients to the blender, twist it onto the base, and push down to give it a whirl.
Chefman TurboFry Touch Air Fryer
This Chefman air fryer is so good it will likely replace your microwave, oven, and frying pan. The compact yet powerful 5-quart appliance can roast chicken, crisp up fries, reheat leftovers to their former glory, and much more. Plus, use is very straightforward—there are four cooking presets and a temperate range of 200 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Mueller Austria Ultra-Stick 500 Watt 9-Speed Immersion Hand Blender
One-handed operation and a comfortable, nonslip grip make this 500-watt immersion blender a versatile kitchen tool. In addition to the standard blender and whisk attachments, this also has a frother so you can also make delicious drinks.
Lodge Enameled Cast Iron Dutch Oven
You know you're getting quality with Lodge and this Dutch oven is no exception. Our tester called it "a perfect companion for the everyday cook."
Ninja Nutri Ninja Personal & Countertop Blender Set
This 1200-watt base of this Nutri Ninja set makes this great for blending large batches or single-serve portions, which you can place in any of the three to-go cups it comes with. The base is also powered with Ninja's own Auto-IQ technology that knows exactly when to pulse, when to blend, and when to pause.
Mr. Coffee Iced and Hot Coffee Maker
Is there anything as delightful as a strong iced coffee on a hot day? We don't think so. And even better, one you can make from home in just a few minutes. Enter: this single-serve coffee maker, capable of brewing up both a bold cup of hot java and crisp iced coffee. All you have to do is pour in some coffee grounds (made easy with the integrated measuring system), make your choice, and voila! Instant delicious satisfaction.
Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker with 50-Ounce Glass Carafe, Fold-Away Frother, and Scoop
Featuring six brew sizes, four brew types, and a built-in frother, the Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker will make coffee-house-style drinks in the comfort of your own home.
Ember Temperature Control Smart Mug 2
For perfectly hot and revitalizing sips of coffee (or tea) every time, the Ember Smart Mug is the move. It uses temperature control technology to keep your drink at the precise temperature you set it to, all day long. The accompanying app is super convenient for customizing the temp to the degree, as well as using preset settings best for different types of teas and coffee beverages. A couple of our editors actually bought these for our moms, and they were a hit.
Mueller Vacuum Sealer
Sure, airtight containers do the trick, but nothing keeps your food fresh like a vacuum sealer. If you like buying meat or fish in bulk, vacuum-sealing it before storing it in the freezer will help maintain the quality. You can also use it to store leftovers in the fridge or freezer.
Vitamix 5200 Blender
When it comes to blenders, Vitamix is the gold standard—and the price usually reflects that. But right now, you can get this professional-grade, normally big-ticket blender for less. On your mark, get set, blend.
Caraway Nonstick Ceramic Cookware Set (12 Piece)
We've been testing Caraway pots and pans for three years, and we're still super impressed. Available in several fun colors, the non-stick set comes with a frying pan, sauce pan, Dutch oven, and sauté pan. It also has magnetic pan racks and a canvas lid holder.
Anova Culinary Nano Sous Vide Cooker
The only downside of this sous vide machine is that you’ll never want to cook meat in any of your other appliances ever again. The precision cooker takes "set it and forget it" to the next level, keeping the water temperature (which cooks your food) extremely constant for perfect results. It comes paired with an app that makes programming it that much easier.
Braun BrewSense Drip Glass Coffeemaker
Coffee runs the world, and this compact drip coffee maker will surely bring some flavorful joy to your morning. You can brew up to 12 cups of fresh hot java, plus the 24-hour timer guarantees you can get your fix as soon as you wake up.
Apple AirPods (2nd Generation)
If you missed Prime Day, there's still this deal on the regular 2nd generation AirPods. We love popping these in to listen to our favorite podcasts while cooking (or while cleaning up the kitchen), but they're also great for chatting on the go or for your WFH Zooms.
Everlasting Comfort 54-Can Backpack Cooler
This backpack cooler will let you carry everything you need to the beach or the park, or just home from the grocery store. It has enough room to carry a full day of food for over five people, plus side pockets for large bottles of water or wine.
Cuisinart 15-Piece High Carbon Stainless Steel Knife Set
At 60% off even after Prime Day is over, this quality-made Cuisinart knife set is a deal we're snagging ASAP. It includes the essentials for the sharpest of kitchen work—six steak knives, a chef knife, slicing knife, santoku knife, paring knife, utility knife, bird's beak knife, sharpening steel, and household shears. Plus, the carbon steel construction is ultra-sharp and precise, guaranteed to last years of use.
Cuisinart Petite Gourmet Portable Gas Grill
If you've been wanting to barbecue on the beach, at the campground, or simply on your balcony, this small but mighty portable gas grill is just the ticket. We put it to the test and loved the 5500-BTU burner and how easily food slid off the grill. Burgers and chicken thighs cooked through evenly and even had those picture-perfect char lines.
Amazon Basics Silicone Baking Mats
This non-stick pair of baking mats is ideal for baking up cookies without the need of cooking spray or flimsy parchment paper. It is oven safe up to 480 degree Fahrenheit. When you're finished baking, just wash it with warm soap and water.
Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Bottle with Flex Cap
Hydro Flask makes our favorite insulated water bottle and for the moment, the 20-ounce version is on deep discount. When we tested the 32-ounce version, the insulation was able to keep hot beverages warm for 12 hours, and cold ones chilled for 24 hours—and the wide mouth means you can add in ice cubes for extra chilling.
When was Prime Day 2023?
Amazon's Prime Day was July 11 and 12 this year. Early access deals started June 21 and continued through the weeks leading up to Prime Day.
What is Prime Day?
Since its establishment, Prime Day has become a roaring success for Amazon, its retailers, and its customers. It's one of the biggest sale events of the year filled with huge discounts across all of Amazon's categories.
Most of the deals were available during the entire two-day event, although there are still some going on. You must be a Prime member to take advantage of the deals, but if you’re not currently a member, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial to get access.
"Amazon has a policy that brands must discount their Prime Day deals by at least 20 percent from their lowest price in the last 90 days," says Ian Sells, CEO of Rebate Key, a program that offers coupons and cash back for online purchases. So, you really are getting a great deal. "Really any category can see huge discounts," Sells says. "If you have time, look through all the deals that go live every hour and see if you can find some gems."
What Other Brands Offer Prime Day Deals?
Prime Day started as an Amazon-only event, but other retailers have gotten in on the action as well. In the past few years, Walmart, Home Depot, Kohl’s, and Nordstrom have offered big deals to compete with Prime Day. These noteworthy sales occur on the same days or week of Amazon's Prime Day.
What Categories Are Best to Shop?
You’ll score the best deals on practically everything. From electronics and appliances to kitchen essentials, there are a ton of products to shop at a fraction of the cost. Last year, our readers particularly loved cookware sets, espresso machines, blenders, and vacuum sealers.
